The handgrip rotates to allow any degree of pronation or supination which accommodates the developmental changes in the shoulder girdle and forearm as the child matures.

The cuff is designed with a metal backed half-cuff, and a leather front cuff with Velcro closure to provide support around the entire to provide support around the entire forearm. The adjustability of the handgrip to cuff distance has been increased to accommodate very short forearms in young children.
