The Safespace Hi-Lo is single bed sized Safespace Room on a robust hi-lo base. It has the customary strong flex-out sides and airy net ceiling. The room and mattress can be removed from the Hi-Lo base (on 125mm castors) and used on the floor if required. As standard the Safespace Hi-Lo comes with one roll-up wall with a viewing panel. The viewing panel can be made in the head & the foot end.

Going away on holiday – or even a short visit – can seem like an impossible dream for many parents and carers struggling with behavioural issues and safety concerns. The Voyager Travel Bed provides a safe, low-stimulation environment, in which a person can settle at night when away from home. The soft walls and floor mean there are no hard surfaces inside, reducing the risk of injury. Carers and family can relax – a real holiday for everyone!
The Voyager Travel Bed is a soft, portable sleep system with a free-standing PVC netting ‘tent’, suspended on a robust, but lightweight aluminium frame. It is designed for holidays and respite care for those who need a low stimulation, safe environment for sleeping in. It is particularly useful for those with autism and who find change difficult, as the bed provides a consistent calm area that can be transported in the boot of a car, or taken as hand carry luggage on flights. If the person using the Voyager travel bed has a Safespaces product at home, they will find the transition to other accommodation easier using a Voyager. The Voyager incorporates many design features of the Safespace Room.
It comes with a securely fitted inflatable mattress (with pump included). Several fun viewing panels and the white PVC netting walls create a sense of openness for the person inside, as well as allowing carers to see in. The soft walls (which flex out on impact) and floor mean there are no hard surfaces inside, reducing the risk of injury. It comes with a system of water-filled ballast bags, which create additional stability and has an integral roof with standing room inside.
The Voyager packs away into 2 transport bags and is supplied with complete assembly instructions. With practice, the Voyager can be assembled in 15 minutes.
