Creative Care Safe and Sound Pods provide soft safe spaces for sleep and play for people with behaviours of concern and complex needs. Concerned behaviours are often caused by over stimulation, these pods provide super tough, low stimulation area that users often take themselves to. The product is unique and designed to be adaptable. Not only are they be tailor made, they can also be updated as you go along. If climbing is a problem – add a roof, if the carergiver needs help with nursing – convert it to a  hi-lo. Need castors or feet? No problem.

Inside the pods there are no hard surfaces, no entrapment issues, no wood or metal catches to rattle, no foam padding held on with velcro, even the door catches are designed to be non hazardous and easy to clean.

Standard Features

• Made from super tough wipe clean PVC tarpaulin, with correct use they can last many years
• Nothing would rattle, no velcro pads to remove and chew, no entrapment areas
• For users with no awareness of safety, the pods keep them safe
• For users with smearing behaviour, the PVC is cleanable, anti-bacterial coating makes it even more hygienic
• For users with banging and self-harming behaviours, the tensioned sides and padded floor reduce noise and risk of injury. Limiting feedback can also discourage unwanted behaviours
• For users with biting, chewing and picking behaviours, the tensioned sides and tough fabric prevent damage to the structure. Special coating protects stitches
• For users with poor sleep pattern, the low stimulation pods have been proven to help improve sleep pattern
• Comes in 3 wall heights: 1.5, 1.7 and 2 m
• Fabric can be removed from the frame for easy cleaning and repair
• Self-assembly is easy, allowing pod relocation possible
• Bottom panel in the kick-zone made from extra tough material
• Zip-out door on front wall can be rolled-up and held with magnetic catches

1. Mini – int size 1.9 x 0.9m, ext size 2.3 x 1.3m.    Mini provides a single bed sized space that fits into the smallest of rooms. It is ideal where the intended use is for a safe sleep area, leaving the rest of the room available for play and storage
2. 3/4 – int size 2 x 1.2m, ext size 2.4 x 1.2m. With the wider mattress it is a great size for the adult who needs a bigger bed but does not quite have the room for a Midi.
3. Midi – int size 2 x 1.4m, ext size 2.4 x 1.8m. Whether it is reading a story, helping user get to sleep or when they’re ill, a bit of space to share the bed is always handy
4. Maxi – int size 2 x 2m, ext size 2.4 x 2.4m, In the home it provides a safe environment that is big enough for both sleep and day time play. In schools it can be used as a free standing safe play room. therapy area or furnished with sound and lights as a sensory room
