This Australian designed product offers protection to those
people who are at risk of undoing the seat belt buckle accidentially
in the car. The see through design complies with the guideline of
Australain/New Zealand Standard AS/NZ 4370:1996 - Restraint
of Children with Disabilities in Motor Vehicles. Once this Buckle
Guard is applied the child or adult will not be able to undo the
seat belt buckle. The seat belt buckle can be safely released by
inserting any key-size object in one of the slots. A snap-off wedge
spacer is provided for taking up loose space between the buckle
and Buckle Guard. The universal size will suit most of the car

Since the seat belt buckle is effectively "modified", it is
recommanded by the above Australain/New Zealand Standard
AS/NZ 4370:1996 that a medical certificate from medical
practitioner and a proper prescription form to be completed before

The new Buckle Guard is made of ABS plastic hence is
difficult to break. The package now comes with a webbing cutter
for emergency used, a wedge spacer, and a warning label.
